The front-seat passenger, a North Chicago man in his 20s, was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead, police said. The Lake County coroner’s office is expected to perform an autopsy on Friday.

Orihuela, was taken to a hospital to be treated for “moderate injuries,” police said. He has since been released into police custody.
