Tight End Dion Sims Sidelined in Bears' Practice

Sims was the only player to appear on the Bears' Wednesday injury report

The Chicago Bears’ injury report ahead of their divisional showdown against the Minnesota Vikings is extremely short, with only one player missing from practice on Wednesday afternoon.

That player is tight end Dion Sims, who is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Sims missed last week’s game against the Detroit Lions with the injury, and is still dealing with symptoms as the new work week begins at Halas Hall.

On the Vikings’ side of the ledger, they did get good news on two players, as wide receiver Stefon Diggs and defensive tackle Linval Joseph both returned to practice.

Offensive linemen Tom Compton (knee) and Mike Remmers (back) were limited in practice, as were cornerback Xavier Rhodes and wide receiver Adam Thielen.

One of the Vikings’ key defensive leaders did not practice on Wednesday, as linebacker Anthony Barr missed the team’s workout with a hamstring injury. Tight end David Morgan and safety Andrew Sendejo both missed practice with injuries.
