D. Rose Throws Down Nasty Dunk on Tour

Ok, it was on an 8-foot rim, but still

We've already seen a number of reports from Tom Thibodeau, Reggie Rose and even Derrick Rose himself that the former MVP is fully healthy from his knee injury and ready to resume his NBA career after taking the 2012-13 season off to rehab.

Rose has been working out incessantly and along with an improved jump shot, it is believed the 24-year-old will also regain his trademark explosiveness which should delight Bulls fans at the United Center this winter.

While in Madrid for his European D. Rose Tour, Rose showed off his explosiveness by throwing down a nasty between-the-legs dunk that was caught on video. However, in the interest of transparency, we must inform you that said dunk took place on an 8-foot rim.

Hosting a number of local kids for a basketball clinic, Rose randomly grabbed a ball and threw down the dunk to a few ooh's and ahh's from the crowd. Despite the lowered target, the native of Englewood looked smooth on takeoff and delivery. But most importantly, he looked like he was having fun being back on the basketball court again.

That should delight Bulls fans at the United Center this winter, too.
