A wave of storms that rolled through the Chicago area forced flight cancellations and delays at O'Hare International Airport.
According to Fly Chicago, the average delay on flights at O'Hare on Friday night was 33 minutes, and nearly 200 flights were cancelled at the airport.
As of 11 p.m. Friday night, 194 flights had been cancelled as severe weather threatened
Midway Airport didn't deal with much in the way of cancellations, with only 13 flights cancelled as a result of the storms. Flights were delayed an average of 36 minutes at the airport, according to the website.
A series of storms rolled through the Chicago area on Friday night, knocking out power to nearly 30,000 homes and causing damage to numerous structures.
