Rapper Kanye West may be $53 million in debt, but thanks to a new job offer from the Philadelphia Police Department, Yeezy could be debt-free in about 500 years.

The department posted to social media Thursday morning that it was hiring the Chicago native with a starting salary of $47,920. The post included a photoshopped image of "Officer West" in a police uniform.

"Officer West could be completely debt-free by the year 3122," the post read. "And that's only if he were never to receive a single raise! With a few promotions and cost of living increases, Yeezy could probably break even in a quick 500 years."

The post, which follows days of headline-making news from West, was quickly shared by many on Facebook and Twitter Thursday, garnering nearly 4,000 Facebook shares and more than 7,100 retweets in less than five hours.

It appears the image was intended to encourage others to apply to the department.

"Even if you're not Kanye, please consider a career as a Philly Police Officer. You could earn a great living, receive a fantastic benefits package for you and your family, and make a true difference in your community," the department said. "You don't even need to download TIDAL to apply!"

West, who is also the husband of Kim Kardashian, tweeted his surprising financial concerns over the weekend during a rant that celebrated the release of his new album "The Life of Pablo."

"Let's dance in the streets. I am consumed by my purpose to help the world," he said, adding, "I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt... Please pray we overcome...This is my true heart...This is all all is fun all in good feelings... We will all be gone 100 years from now but what did we do to help while we were here!!!"

He also tweeted Sunday morning, "Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas after realizing he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time."

With the combined income of Kanye and Kim, they had ranked No. 5 on Forbes' 2013 list of Highest-Earning Celebrity Couples. The outlet stated his 2013 "Yeezus" tour "added double-digit millions to his bottom line, helping him to a 50 percent jump in annual earnings."

"The Life of Pablo" is the follow-up record to his 2013 Yeezus album. All seven of his previous albums have gone platinum, having sold at least 1 million copies in the United States.

West tweeted the album will be available on Tidal exclusively and will have a wider release next week.
