Bears vs. Rams Injury Report: Trevathan, Burton Out for Sunday's Game

Adam Shaheen will also miss his second consecutive game on Sunday

The Chicago Bears are hoping for their second victory in a row on Sunday when they take on the Los Angeles Rams, but they’ll have to do so without key players on both sides of the ball.

In the Bears’ final injury report on Friday, four players were officially ruled out for the contest against the Rams, including linebacker Danny Trevathan and tight end Trey Burton.

Trevathan suffered an elbow injury during Sunday’s win over the Detroit Lions, while Burton has been dealing with a calf injury that kept him out of practice during the week. Both players will be out of action for Sunday’s contest.

Joining them on the sidelines will be tight end Adam Shaheen, who was kept out of last week’s game and is now out with a foot injury. Shaheen popped up on the injury report Thursday with the ailment, and will miss his second straight game, making for a thin group of tight ends heading into Sunday’s contest.

Finally, Isaiah Irving will miss another game with a lingering quadriceps injury.

The Bears could also be without running back David Montgomery, who has been hampered by an ankle injury this week. He suffered the injury on Wednesday and then missed Thursday’s workout, but was able to practice in limited fashion on Friday.

The Rams will not have wide receiver Brandin Cooks or cornerback Darious Williams for the game against the Bears, which will kick off at 7:20 p.m. and will air on NBC 5.
