A crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway on the South Side blocked traffic early Friday morning.
A semi and a pickup collided about 4 a.m. in the outbound lanes of I-94 near the Chicago Skyway, according to Illinois State Police. The crash caused a tank to rupture and leak fuel.
All local lanes on outbound I-94 are closed, but express lanes remain open, state police said.
