Cutler To Appear on FXX Series ‘The League' Wednesday

The episode, titled "The Chalupa and the Cutlet" will air at 9:30pm

If you are a devout fan of the FXX series "The League," then prepare to see a couple of familiar faces on Wednesday's episode.

That's because Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and his wife Kristin Cavallari, a reality TV star, will make a guest appearance on the show. According to the Chicago Tribune's Luis Gomez, the couple will play themselves, and at least according to Cavallari, Cutler's cameo will be a funny one:

"I didn't know what to expect, but (Cutler) was hilarious. He seemed at ease and nailed his lines. He was confident and did a good job. He was a natural...

"People are starting to see a different side of his personality -- a more playful, sweet side. I get to see it, but he doesn't let everyone else see it. He has a great sense of humor."

Cutler has often been criticized both by fans in Chicago and throughout the NFL for his body language during games, and is considered by many to be a bit too brash and cocky for their taste. He does occasionally let his guard down (the Tribune article cites his costume from the 1980's-themed party that he and Cavallari threw earlier this year), but for the most part, people seem to either love him or hate him.

One thing everyone can agree on is that his taste in T-shirts, however, is second to none:
