“Respect the Goat” T-Shirt Surfaces on Internet

A new "pro-goat" Cubs t-shirt has emerged for sale on the Internet in response to the explicit t-shirt worn by players forsaking the infamous cursed icon.

Cubs players this week wore the light blue "F**k the Goat!!!" T-shirts for pre-games practice before a division game against the Milwaukee Brewers in an effort to rid the clubhouse of outside distractions.

Although it looks like the players' strategy may have work for the short-term (the Cubs are 3-1 since June 14), a T-shirt company has advertised their own version of the goat shirt  highlighting the effectiveness with which the curse has troubled the Northsiders for the last 66 years.

The new T-shirt design features a slick billy goat wearing sunglasses on the front of the t-shirt and Wrigley Field’s iconic scoreboard displaying a "Goat-66, Cubs-0" score.

The shirt is made of 100 percent pre-shrunk cotton and can be purchased for $15 at RespectTheGoat.com.

Update: The site apparently has moved to a new domain: GoatCurse.com.
