Cubs Set Game 2 Lineup vs. Nationals

The Chicago Cubs wrested home-field advantage away from the Washington Nationals thanks to their Game 1 victory, and they’ll be looking to put a stranglehold on the series in Game 2 Saturday afternoon.

To do that, they’ll have to take care of lefthanded star Gio Gonzalez. His walk-rate was up slightly this season, but his ERA was still 2.96, his best mark in that category since he won 21 games during the 2012 season with the Nationals.

Here is how Joe Maddon will line up his team:

1 – Albert Almora Jr. - CF

2 – Kris Bryant, 3B

3 – Anthony Rizzo, 1B

4 – Willson Contreras, C

5 – Addison Russell, SS

6 – Ben Zobrist, RF

7 – Javier Baez, 2B

8 – Ian Happ, LF

9 – Jon Lester, P
