    Weather Leads to Major Travel Woes in Chicago Area

    Fallout from the late blast of winter in the Chicago area continued Monday morning as multiple crashes were reported and and airports struggle to get back on track. Jen Desalvo reports.

    Multiple vehicles were involved in a crash at the Jane Byrne Interchange ahead of the morning rush hour on Monday. 

    The crash took place sometime before 6 a.m. on I-290 at 90/94, according to the Illinois State Police. 

    All outbound lanes of I-290 near the interchange were closed as emergency crews responded to the scene.

    NBC Sky 5 footage from above appeared to show at least 10 cars in the crash, although authorities could not give a definitive number of vehicles involved. 

    Further details, including information on injuries, were not immediately available.
