First responders heading to a call about a fire on Chicago's south side early Thursday morning were sidelined by a crash.
A Chicago Police Department squad car collided with a Chicago Fire Department truck near East 87th Street and South Euclid Avenue shortly after midnight.
Two police officers were taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital. They were treated and released.
No firefighters were injured. The fire turned out to be a non-event.
