Chicago Police Cars Vandalized Near Police Station

Four police vehicles and two personal cars were damaged

Vandalism unfolded steps from a Chicago police station early Wednesday.

Officers found four department vehicles damaged near 17th and State Streets in the city's South Loop neighborhood at about 2:30 a.m., according to Chicago police.

Vandals also damaged two officers’ personal cars, authorities said.

No one was in custody as of Wednesday morning, according to police, who said the investigation into the incident remained ongoing.
