A man is in critical condition after he was run over by an alleged drunk driver on the city’s South Side Saturday, police said.
A vehicle reportedly veered over several lanes near 47th Street and King Drive, running over the 38-year-old man while he was crossing the street to his car, then fled the scene, police said.
The man was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
A suspect is in custody, but no charges were filed as of early Sunday, according to police.
