Chicago Bears kicker Cody Parkey is being hammered for missing a field goal that could have won Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but did an opposing player have more to do with the miss than the kicker?
If you believe Eagles player Treyvon Hester, then the answer to that question could be yes. Hester said after the game that he tipped Parkey’s 43-yard field goal attempt, which bounced off the left upright and the crossbar before falling to the Soldier Field turf.
In a video posted on social media, it does look like Hester may very well have tipped the kick, but we’ll let you be the judge:
Whatever the case may be, the kick was no good, and the Bears’ season has come to an end.
