Strong wind gusts have left more than 6,600 Commonwealth Edison customers without power Sunday night in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.Winds of up to 50 miles per hour in some areas have caused downed trees to make contact with power lines, short-circuiting those lines, according to ComEd spokesman Jeff Burdick.
