Woman Sexually Assaulted in Portable Toilet During Foo Fighters Concert at Wrigley Field: Police

Police say the man jumped into a portable toilet with the woman before she could lock the hatch

A woman was sexually assaulted in a portable toilet during a Foo Fighters concert at Wrigley Field Sunday, according to police.

The 23-year-old woman had been in line for food when a man groped her, authorities said. The woman left the line and went to the bathroom, where police say the man entered the toilet before she could lock the hatch and sexually assaulted her.

The woman was taken to a local hospital. No one was in custody as of Monday morning, police said.

The Cubs said the team was notified of the assault and immediately contacted CPD during the event.

"We are using every available resource to help authorities identify and apprehend the suspect and are working with CPD to address the matter quickly. We are encouraging anyone who may have information to please contact police," the team said in a statement.

The suspect was described as being a white man, between 40 and 50 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches tall with brown, balding hair.

Area North detectives were investigating.

The Foo Fighters are expected to play a second show at the field Monday.
