Tyler Saladino Pens Humorous Goodbye to Sox Fans

Former Chicago White Sox infielder Tyler Saladino was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers this week, and before he left town, he said goodbye to the team’s fans.

On Saladino’s Twitter account, the infielder had some kind words to say about White Sox fans, and he took the opportunity to bid farewell to the South Side:

“I don’t come on here because Twitter bullies smell like old shoes, but White Sox fans definitely don’t,” he said. “I love you all and wish I could meet every one of you and shake your hand or high-five you. I hope to do so one day. #ThankYouSouthside”

Saladino scored a pair of runs and notched two hits for the White Sox in nine plate appearances this season. He was traded to Milwaukee on Thursday night in exchange for cash considerations.
