Eloy Jimenez, Yoan Moncada Among 27 to Agree to Contracts With White Sox

The contracts were given to players who are not yet arbitration eligible

The Chicago White Sox have finalized their 40-man roster ahead of the start of Cactus League games, signing 27 players to contracts for the 2019 campaign.

That extensive list of players includes some of the team’s top young players, including infielder Yoan Moncada, outfielder Eloy Jimenez, and pitchers Dylan Cease, Lucas Giolito, Michael Kopech, and Reynaldo Lopez.

The move is a formality to get the players who are not arbitration-eligible under official contract for the coming year.

Catcher: Seby Zavala

Infielders: Yoan Moncada, Jose Rondon

Outfielders: Micker Adolfo, Luis Alexander Basabe, Ryan Cordell, Nicky Delmonico, Adam Engel, Eloy Jimenez, Daniel Palka
