Despite Dry Spots, Thunderstorms Threaten Weekend

There will be chance for storms throughout the weekend—but it’s not all bad.

Saturday will see a high of 81 with a low of 64 and a chance for thunderstorms. Sunday is about the same with a low of 65 and the same threat of precipitation.

Monday should dry up a little but the rain and storms return in the evening hours and persist into Tuesday morning.

A tricky atmosphere hinders an accurate prediction of just how much rain coverage the weekend will see, according to the National Weather Service.

It will also be humid but cooler near the lakefront.
