Chicago vs. Green Bay: How the Cities Stack Up In a Battle of the Stadiums

According to a new list from SeatGeek, Soldier Field ranks below Lambeau Field when it comes to fan preference

The Chicago Bears may be taking on the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field Thursday night, but it appears there’s one thing about the game fans aren’t as happy about.

According to a new list from SeatGeek, Soldier Field ranks below Lambeau Field when it comes to fan preference.

The stadium guide from Seatgeek came from surveys of more than 3,200 NFL fans, who shared what they “look forward to at each home game.”

The top three categories included atmosphere, food and bathrooms.

According to the list, Soldier Field ranked at no. 21 out of 32 NFL teams for atmosphere, no. 25 for food, and no. 26 for bathrooms.

Meanwhile, Lambeau Field ranked as the top stadium for atmosphere, at no. 2 for food and no. 4 for bathrooms.

Bears fans from the survey recommended arriving early to get through security, which can take extra time. They also suggest not wearing a Green Bay Packers jersey to the stadium.

“Many respondents called out the general joy of the fellow fans at Bears games, especially when everyone comes together late in the season when the wind chill can put the temperature in the negatives,” Seatgeek’s ranking states.
