Getting engaged is traditionally a magical moment for couples (most of the time), and where the big moment happens can play a big role.
Orbitz has released its list of the best places to get engaged in every state and it appears Illinois’ top spot sits in Chicago.
The Signature Room.
The travel company cited the restaurant for its “killer views of the Chicago cityscape and Lake Michigan,” calling it the “quintessential proposal spot.”
Elsewhere in the Midwest, Indiana’s Robert Indiana LOVE sculpture was also named a top place along with Iowa’s Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery, Michigan’s Sleeping Bear Dunes National Seashore, Minnesota’s Stone Arch Bridge, and Wisconsin’s Brute and Highlands golf courses.
Chicago’s Signature Room is located on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Center.
