The Chicago Sky announced Friday that they have fired head coach Amber Stocks after two seasons.
Stocks, who also served as the team's general manager, registered a 25-43 record in two seasons with the team after being hired in December 2016.
"The entire organization woudl like to thank Amber for her hard work and dedication that she has given to the Chicago Sky for the past two seasons," Sky President and CEO Adam Fox said in a statement. "We wish her nothing but the best in the future. Our search for a new coach will begin immediately."
The Sky have missed the playoffs in each of the last two seasons after trading superstar Elena Delle Donne to the Washington Mystics.
