A 32-year-old man is dead and at least six other people have been wounded in Sunday shootings across the city of Chicago.
Just before 5 a.m. Sunday, a 32-year-old man was inside a vehicle in the 6600 block of South Western when a person began firing at the car.
The car then drove several blocks before crashing into a pole.
The victim was taken to Christ Hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to police. No suspect is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
Earlier Sunday, two people were injured in a shooting in the 1900 block of North Lawndale, according to police.
Just before 4 a.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in the back, and a 23-year-old woman was shot in the right leg. The man is in serious condition at Illinois Masonic, and the woman is at Cook County Hospital in good condition, according to police.
Other circumstances of the shooting are unknown.

- A 31-year-old man was shot four times in the leg in the 1400 block of South Kolin, according to police. Neither the victim nor witnesses would cooperate with authorities, and the victim is in serious condition at Mount Sinai.
- An argument broke out in the 300 block of East 75th Street at approximately 2:20 a.m., and a 44-year-old man was injured when gunfire erupted. The man was shot in the shoulder and thigh, and brought himself to Provident Hospital. He was transferred to Stroger, where he is in critical condition, according to police.
- During an argument in the 400 block of North McClurg Court just after 5 a.m., a person pulled out a gun and began shooting at a 40-year-old man, hitting him in the arm. The victim was taken to Rush Hospital and was listed in good condition, according to police.
- A 36-year-old man is in serious condition after he was shot in the chest in the 4800 block of South Bishop at approximately 8:45 p.m. Circumstances of the shooting are unknown, according to police.
