Wounded Robbery Victim Shoots Attackers

All three were in stable condition early Thursday morning, police said

A man who was shot during an armed robbery pulled out his own gun and shot both of his attackers late Wednesday night, police said.

A 32-year-old man was in the second-floor hallway of a building in the 1400 block of West 90th Street, in Chicago's Washington Heights neighborhood, just after 11 p.m. when two males approached him, showed a gun and announced a robbery, police said.

The robbers fired, striking the victim, police said. Then, the victim took out a gun and fired shots, striking both robbers, aged 18 and 22 years.

All three were in stable condition early Thursday morning, police said. One person was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and two were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park.
