Woman, man shot in the leg. Another man shot in the back, officials said

Three people were shot Thursday night on the Northwest Side.

It happened about 9:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Lorel Avenue, police said.

Paramedics took two of the three people to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, while the third person was taken in fair condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, according to Fire Media Affairs.

The Illinois Masonic transports included a 29-year-old woman who was shot in the leg, and a male of unknown age shot in the back, police said. The person taken to Mount Sinai was a male, age unknown, shot in the leg, Greer said.

No one is in custody, and Area North detectives are investigating.
