A portion of a warehouse roof collapsed during a strong thunderstorm in Bedford Park on Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the PCA Warehouse, located in suburban Bedford Park. A semi-trailer was also overturned at the warehouse, some power lines were damaged, and other buildings also sustained damage during the storm.
The building is located just one mile south of Midway Airport, where numerous flights were delayed or cancelled due to the weather.
There have not been any reports of injuries associated with the roof collapse.
