Quinn's found himself under pressure to sign legislation that would change the way McCormick Place is run. Daley wants the change. Madigan wants the change. Quinn's been balking.

If Quinn signs the bill, he’ll lose the power to name McCormick Place’s CEO. That $185,250 a year job is one of the governor’s most powerful appointments. That loss can't sit well with Quinn, who's a big believer in executive power.
