Chicago police are searching for a suspect who allegedly broke into a woman’s home and sexually assaulted her on the city’s Southwest Side on Sunday morning.
According to police, the suspect entered the victim’s residence in the 4300 block of South Richmond between 8:15 and 8:45 a.m., struck the victim, and choked her until she was unconscious. Police say the man then sexually assaulted the woman before fleeing the scene.
The man is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 25 to 30, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9 and weighing between 200 and 250 pounds. The man had a full mustache and beard, was wearing a black t-shirt with the word “Security” on it, black pants, and a black bandana.
