Police Look for Public's Help in Identifying Woman Found on North Side

Chicago police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who was found unresponsive in the city’s Buena Park neighborhood Thursday.

The woman, who was incoherent and did not answer any questions at the hospital, was found in the 4000 block of North Broadway between 9 and 11:45 p.m., police said. The woman was taken to Throek Hospital, and authorities have been unable to identify her.

The woman is not opening her eyes, and has a scar on her lower left throat area.

She is identified as a black woman, between the ages of 18 and 21, with black hair and a dark complexion. She is 5-foot-5 and weighs around 120 pounds, according to authorities, and she has a scar on her belly, likely from an appendectomy.

Anyone with any information on the woman’s identity is encouraged to call Chicago police at 312-744-8266.
