A Chicago man died early Sunday after he was shot in south suburban Dolton.
Tyrone D. Smith, 39, was pronounced dead at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Hammond, Indiana, at 3:17 a.m., according to the Lake County coroner’s office.
Smith, of the 6200 block of South Artesian, was shot multiple times in the 14100 block of South Chicago Road in Dolton, according to the coroner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.
Dolton police did not immediately respond to a call for information about the shooting.
