A Chicago school was no longer being evacuated after police reported Wednesday morning after police said a teacher received a threatening text message.
Chicago police initially said Butler College Prep in the 800 block of East 103rd Street on the city’s far South Side was being evacuated, but authorities later said the school was no longer being evacuated following reports of the threat.
Further information on the threat was not immediately known.
The charter school shares a campus with Chicago Public School George Henry Corliss High School, but it remained unclear if both schools were alerted.
Chicago Public Schools did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
