A person was shot while getting ready to take their driver’s test Monday at suburban Secretary of State facility, an official confirmed.
The shooting occurred at the Chicago Heights “driver’s facility” about 1 p.m. in the 500 block 209th Street, spokesman Dave Druker said.
“(The) victim was getting ready to do a road test when he was approached by a man who shot him and fled,” Druker said in an email.
The Chicago Heights Police Department was investigating.
