An in-depth view of Chicago's 52 most prominent gangs looks to expose the culture and leadership that walk some of the city's most violent streets. The Chicago Crime Commission released its latest edition of its "Gang Book," a "compilation of current gang trends." The book is made in collaboration with federal, state and city law enforcement groups along with gang investigators, the crime commission said. The group aims for it to be a tool to combat violent crime, distributing it to every law enforcement agency in the city and state along with numerous schools throughout the city and suburbs.
