No Injuries in Fire at River North Restaurant

Firefighters were called to Patron’s Hacienda just before 2 a.m. Thursday

No one was hurt in an early morning fire at a restaurant in Chicago's River North neighborhood, officials said.

Crews responded at 1:50 a.m. Thursday to a fire at Patron’s Hacienda, a Mexican restaurant at 316 W. Erie, according to a fire department spokesperson.

The fire was extinguished and crews had cleared the scene by 3:30 a.m., officials said. The restaurant was closed at the time and no injuries were reported.

Damage estimates weren’t immediately available, nor was information about a possible cause.
