An early Monday morning fire in Chicago's Ausin neighborhood left 10 adults looking for shelter.
The fire started at about 12:35 a.m. in the rear of a two-story frame house in the 4900 block of West Superior Street, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Juan Hernandez said.
Officials had the fire out by 2:30 a.m. and no injuries were reported, Hernandez said.
Chicago's Department of Human Services was contacted to assist those who were displaced.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
