No animals or people were hurt Thursday night during a fire at a stable on the city's near north side.

The fire, at the Noble House Theater and carriage ride stables, in the 1400 block of North Orleans Street, began shortly after 9 p.m., a fire department spokesperson said.

It was out about 30 minutes later.

The fire started in the area where the carriages are stored. All the horses were removed from the stable and none of them were hurt.
