The Chicago Dogs will make history on Friday night as they play their first ever home game at Rosemont's Impact Field.
The Dogs, who are 1-5 to start the young season, will look to turn things around as they play their first official home game at the new stadium.
Fans who attend the game against the Kansas City T-Bones will receive a free commemorative ticket to mark the occasion, and kids will be allowed to run the bases at the ballpark after the game.
Fireworks will also be on the docket after the game, which starts at 7:05 p.m.
According to the team, legendary singer Wayne Messmer will lead the crowd in the Star-Spangled Banner prior to the game, and Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens will throw out the first pitch.
The team's new mascots will also be revealed after the conclusion of the first inning.
