Cubs Announce Yu Darvish MRI Results

Darvish is on the disabled list with right triceps tendonitis

The Chicago Cubs got some good news on Wednesday after starting pitcher Yu Darvish underwent an MRI on his pitching arm.

Darvish, who is on the disabled list with right triceps tendinitis, has no structural damage to his arm, the MRI revealed, and he should be able to rejoin the team sooner rather than later.

The team says that Darvish will look to begin a throwing program this weekend or early next week.

Chicago Cubs star Anthony Rizzo may be off the market – but his Florida home is now up for sale.

After signing a six-year contract with the Cubs over the offseason, Darvish has now had two different stints on the disabled list. He has a 1-3 record with a 4.95 ERA in eight starts with the Cubs.
