Chicago Cubs pitcher Yu Darvish is making strides in his recovery from offseason surgery, and he’s giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his rehab.

Darvish posted a wild video of drills he’s doing to improve his arm strength, involving resistance bands and a PVC pipe:

Darvish had a lackluster first season with the Cubs, going 1-3 with a 4.95 ERA in just eight starts after signing a six-year contract with the team. After his May 20 start, he was placed on the disabled list and never returned to the active roster.
