Willson Contreras Hits Mammoth Home Run for Cubs

Contreras' home run was his second already of the spring season

After a season where his power numbers took a precipitous dip, Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras might be finding his groove again in the Cactus League.

Contreras, who only hit 10 home runs and drove in 54 RBI in 544 plate appearances last season for the Cubs, has been hitting the ball a lot harder this spring, and he showed off his power during a Wednesday afternoon game against the Kansas City Royals:

The home run is the second of the spring for Contreras, and the ball was a long one, flying over the left field berm in Surprise as the Cubs jumped out to an early lead.

Mark Zagunis also went deep for the Cubs, and David Bote collected a pair of base hits and scored two runs in the game.
