The Chicago Cubs have made another move before Friday's waiver-trade deadline, acquiring catcher Bobby Wilson from the Minnesota Twins.
Wilson, who is hitting .178 with two home runs and 16 RBI this season, will start his time with the Cubs on the 10-day disabled list after spraining his right ankle earlier this season.
In exchange, the Cubs sent catcher Chris Gimenez to the Twins. Gimenez, who signed a free agent deal with the team over the offseason, hit .204 in Triple-A Iowa this year, and hit just .143 with the Cubs.

To make room for Wilson on the team's 40-man roster, the Cubs designated pitcher Cory Mazzoni for assignment.
