Anthony Rizzo, Joe Maddon Among Cubs Shaved During ‘Respect Bald' Event

The event was designed to raise money for pediatric cancer research

The Chicago Cubs held their annual "Respect Bald" event Saturday at Sloan Park, and several prominent players and coaches have a lot less hair than they began the day with.

The fifth-annual event is hosted by manager Joe Maddon, and features players and fans getting their heads shaved to benefit pediatric cancer research.

Maddon, along with stars Anthony Rizzo, Ian Happ, Kyle Schwarber, and more, got their heads shaved by local stylists and fans to help raise money for the charitable cause:

Fans were able to donate $100 to get their heads shaved along with the players and coaches before the Cubs' Saturday game against the Milwaukee Brewers. That game will air on WGN, and is the first televised game of the spring for the Cubs.
