Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds after colliding with outfielder Jason Heyward in the sixth inning of the contest.

Bryant and Heyward were chasing after a fly ball when they collided in right-center field. Bryant appeared to hit his head on the play, and was tended to by trainers before walking off the field.

Albert Almora Jr. came into the game to replace Bryant, and Heyward moved to right field after the collision.

According to Cubs manager Joe Maddon, Bryant is still being evaluated after the play, and the manager says that Bryant was hid in the side of his head and neck in the collision.

After the game, Cubs reporters, including MLB.com's Jordan Bastian, reported that Bryant has been cleared to fly with the Cubs on the beginning of their road trip to Houston, although it's unclear if he will be able to play in Monday's game at Minute Maid Park against the Astros.
