Cubs to Give Away Sweet 90s Day Tank Tops for Brewers Game

The tank tops will be available with a specially-purchased ticket for an Aug. 30 game against Milwaukee

While players like Frank Castillo Rey Sanchez, and Hector Villanueva may not be on the North Side anymore, the Chicago Cubs are still celebrating the 90’s with an incredible promotional item later this month.

The team will host 90’s Day at the ballpark on Friday, Aug. 30 when they take on the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field. Fans will have the option to buy a special promotional ticket that will guarantee them a limited-edition Cubs neon tank top:

In addition to the sweet giveaway (which you have to have the specially-purchased ticket to receive), the Cubs will also host a variety of 90’s-themed activities at Gallagher Way before the game, including a performance by How Rude!, a 90’s tribute band named after the catchphrase of Stephanie Tanner from TV’s “Full House.”

Fans who buy the special-edition tickets and arrive early for the game will get one more treat. The first 10,000 fans who arrive at Wrigley Field for the 1:20 p.m. game will receive a Cubs three-quarter length sleeve T-shirt.
