Moms Have New Place to Nurse Children at Wrigley Field

The new room has a lockable door, two benches, and a table

The Chicago Cubs have added a new feature to Wrigley Field that will help mothers who need a quiet place to nurse their babies at the Friendly Confines.

In partnership with Advocate Health Care, the Cubs have unveiled a new lactation pod at Wrigley Field. According to a press release, the “suite gives moms a private space to nurse or use a breast pump at the stadium.”

“This is one of the many meaningful ways we use our partnerships to improve our communities,” Advocate’s Kelly Jo Golson said. “Attending concerts, ballgames, and other public events can be stressful for nursing mothers, so we’re proud to team up with the Cubs to offer a quiet suite for moms who are seeking a safe, comfortable, convenient environment to breastfeed or pump.”

The mother’s room, described as a “Quiet Little Den for You and Your Cub,” is located near Gate 4 on the left field concourse. The pod has a lockable door, featuring two benches, a table, a charging station, and an electrical outlet.

According to the press release, a similar lactation pod is also located at Soldier Field for use during Chicago Bears games.
