Accolades: He’s the founder and CEO of Pencils Of Promise, a nonprofit dedicated to giving “every child access to quality education.” PoP has been recognized by everyone from Nobel peace prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu to Justin Bieber. The Biebs!
Why you should care: It’s a nonprofit that’s trying to make all our kids smarter -- how could you not care about that? Obviously, if it’s something you’re even the slightest bit interested in hearing more about -- that is, founding a nonprofit, helping educate children and just dabbling in social entrepreneurship in general, Braun is a good one to listen to.
