Zach LaVine to Miss Several Games for Bulls With Ankle Injury

The Chicago Bulls will be without one of their best players for at least the next few games, as Zach LaVine will be out of commission with an ankle injury.

LaVine, who is averaging 23.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season, suffered the injury during the Bulls’ loss Wednesday to the Orlando Magic. An MRI revealed that he had suffered a sprained deltoid ligament, and he has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Spurs and Monday’s game against the Thunder.

Kris Dunn and Ryan Arcidiacono will get the start in the team’s backcourt, and Lauri Markkanen will be joined by Justin Holiday and Wendell Carter Jr. in the frontcourt for the game Saturday night.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
