Noah and Belinelli Out Versus the Wizards

Noah will miss his sixth consecutive game while Belinelli will miss his fifth

Joakim Noah will miss his sixth straight game when the Chicago Bulls take on the Washington Wizards Tuesday night at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The All-Star is stealing dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot.

“My foot's getting there, so I’m just taking it slow and just trying to get back. Trying to get to 100 percent," Noah said to ESPN Chicago on Tuesday. “Probably in the next couple games I’ll try to come back."

Also out against the Wizards will be Marco Belinelli who will miss his fifth consecutive contest with an abdominal strain.

Fortunately for the Bulls, they have a pretty favorable schedule that will allow their injured players to take their time and recover. Of their 10 remaining games in the regular season, only three are against teams bound for the playoffs (Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, Miami Heat).

Said Tom Thibodeau on Noah and Belinelli, “They both have the type of injury where you don't want it to linger so we're just going to be patient. Plus where we are in the season, you're winding down right now so we just want to make sure that they're completely healthy."
