Chicago Bulls Beat Hornets in Summer League Contest

The Bulls wrap up preliminary round play in the Summer League with a 2-2 record

The Chicago Bulls finished off their NBA Summer League preliminary round schedule with a flourish on Wednesday afternoon, scoring a comeback victory over the Charlotte Hornets in Las Vegas.

Daniel Gafford finished the game with a double-double, scoring 20 points and hauling down 10 rebounds, including six on the offensive glass. Coby White had a strong all-around game for the Bulls as well, scoring 11 points, dishing out five assists, and pulling down five rebounds in the victory.

Chandler Hutchinson finished off the preliminary round with a strong game as well, contributing 18 points and nine rebounds to the Bulls’ cause. He also had a pair of steals and a pair of assists in the game as the Bulls finished preliminary round play with a 2-2 record.

The Hornets had five players in double figures, with center Isaiah Hicks leading the way with 15 points and eight rebounds to lead the club in both categories. Devonte’ Graham had seven assists to go along with 14 points for the Hornets, who finish the preliminary round at 1-3.

It is not known which team the Bulls will play when the Summer League postseason begins Friday, with several games remaining on Wednesday and Thursday as the rest of the league finishes up preliminary round play.
